Family-Owned Plumbing and Heating in Utica, NY Since 2008
RFC Contracting is owned and run by Bob Catrombone. We are a family-owned plumbing, heating, and air conditioning contractor based on Whitesboro Street in Utica, serving homes and businesses across the Mohawk Valley and Oneida County.
Licensed Plumbers Who Treat Your Home Like Their Own
We started RFC Contracting in 2008 to do plumbing the way we would want it done at our own houses: show up on time, find the real problem, fix it right, and charge a fair price. That has not changed. The company is still owner-operated, the plumbers are licensed and insured, and we back our plumbing labor with a one-year warranty.
Over the years we added heating, air conditioning, sewer and drain cleaning, pumps, and commercial work, so one call covers most of what can go wrong in a building. We work in homes, restaurants, gyms, retail stores, and industrial buildings across Utica and the surrounding towns.

What You Can Expect From Us
Four things we hold ourselves to on every job, from a leaky faucet to a commercial boiler.
Straight answers
We tell you what is wrong, what it costs to fix, and whether it is worth fixing. If a repair will not hold, we say so.
On time, or we call
You get a window and we keep it. If a job before yours runs long, you hear from us before the window closes.
Quote before work
Price is agreed before tools come out. The invoice matches the quote unless you asked us to do more.
Warrantied work
Plumbing labor is covered for one year. If something we did is not right, call and we will come back.

I would highly recommend RFC Contracting to anyone. They responded immediately when I had an urgent plumbing problem. Kris came first thing in the morning and started working right away so I was able to use water everywhere except one of my showers. They went that same day to Richfield Springs to get the correct faucets, then Kris volunteered to complete the job on Saturday morning so I wouldn’t have to wait until Monday. Kris is knowledgeable, friendly and courteous, and got here exactly at the time he said he would. The price was reasonable and he did a great job.
